LINDA RETHWISCH, M.A.



Founder | Editing Consultant


Adaptable, adventurous, and creative are words I live by, personally and professionally.


A lover of art, culture, literature, music, nature, and travel, I bring 20+ years of diverse professional expertise and international experience to my clients.


I enjoy collaborating with writers to develop and refine their unique perspectives and voices. I specialize in maintaining writers' voices while transforming their texts into engaging reading experiences.


In my spare time, I'm usually at a café sipping a cappuccino, engrossed in a book of poetry.



KIRA KNOLL, M.A.



Partner | Editing Consultant



Having lived, studied, and worked in the United States, the Czech Republic, and, currently, Bavaria, Germany, the wide scope of my professional, academic, and international experience is invaluable to my current work as an editor and proofreader at BB.


My passions include language, music, food, literature, and immersing myself in different cultures.


In my free time, I can often be found hiking, gardening, reading, or studying a new language en route to my next travel destination.



Originally from California (USA), we are permanent German residents and bring 35+ years of collective ​academic, international, and professional experience to BB.



Master of Arts graduates from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), we understand the challenges of producing ​quality academic work under strict guidelines and deadlines.



Inspired by the lyric songs of blackbirds, we collaborate with you ​to develop, refine, and share your unique voice and perspective.
